Individual/Couples Clinician

My Story

In my work as a therapist, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, welcoming space in which clients feel heard and understood. Working together, we'll explore the thoughts, feelings, and habits that might be causing you to feel anxious or depressed, keeping you stuck, or affecting your relationships. We'll examine the origins of those influences, and why they may no longer serve you. My goal is to help my clients gain insight, overcome obstacles, have a greater sense of self-determination, and experience more joy and fulfillment.

I'm especially interested in working with relationships, as evidence shows they are a powerful source of happiness and personal growth. I work to help partners rebuild trust, improve communication, understand and resolve attachment issues, deepen mutual understanding and intimacy, and move toward a healthier way of relating. My approach relies on insights gained in my 2-year postgraduate fellowship in Psychodynamic Couples Therapy with the Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England, as well as wisdom and strategies from experts John Gottman and Esther Perel, among others.

LGBTQ+ identifying individuals and couples, and those in non-traditional relationships, including poly/CNM relationships, are welcome. Additionally, I can draw on 20+ years of experience in the music industry to work therapeutically with bands and performing artists, to help them foster strong, collaborative, and productive creative partnerships.
