Individual Clinician
My Story
My experience focuses on trauma and co-occurring disorders like anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. My practice emphasizes understanding an individual’s history to make sense of present-day patterns and behaviors. I enjoy helping clients understand themselves, their relationships, and life patterns through psychoeducation, and empowering them through skills building.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is healing, emphasizing positive rapport, trust, and safety. I use a relationship-based, collaborative approach, encouraging clients to take ownership of their therapy and value open communication.
My goal is to create a safe space for sharing and exploring feelings and thoughts. I use a conversational style, drawing on psychodynamic, narrative, DBT, mindfulness, and emotionally focused therapies. I focus on strengths to identify talents as well as struggles.
I believe it is an honor to hear your story and hold space for your struggles, and appreciate the courage it takes to enter therapy.
